The Hope 1.5" Stepdown Headset is made to allow you to run a fork with a 1 1/8" steerer in a 1.5" traditional headtube. On this version the bottom cup is 10mm "taller" than the Low Stack version, to help with frame/fork clearance issues. They include replaceable custom made stainless steel bearings. The cups, taper ring and crown race, which is split for east installation and removal, are all machined from 2014 T6 Aluminium.
